Welcome to the world of Jiu Jitsu. We understand that Jiu Jitsu is a lot of information to take in all at once so we are going to try and break it down for you. All you need is an open mind.

Intro to Muay Thai
Welcome! Muay Thai is a striking martial art that incorporates punches, elbows, knees, kicks and the clinch. Muay Thai is a martial art that can be learned and practiced by everyone regardless of your current fitness level or prior experience!
In order to participate you will need to wear athletic clothing conducive to moving your whole body. It is also highly recommended that you purchase your own 16 ounce boxing gloves, hand wraps and Muay Thai shin pads.

Respect the gym and your training partners.

Please keep feet covered when off the mats with flip flops, shoes, socks, exc. You may borrow a pair of flip flops if you do not have your own.

No Shoes on the mat! Barefoot or socks only.

Wash gym gear after each use. This includes gis, belts, rashguards, shorts, exc.

Shower as soon as possible after each practice.

Keep finger nails and toe nails trimmed and cut short.

Please help keep yourself and the gym clean to minimize the spreading of germs.

No Jewelry when training.

Do not speak or interrupt when an instructor is giving instruction.

No food on the mat.
